Report: $10,200 in computers, equipment stolen from Fort Mill store

An unknown person broke into a Fort Mill computer store and took nearly two-dozen laptops, according to the York County Sheriff’s Office.

An alarm sounded at Randy’s Computers on U.S. 21 about 5:45 a.m. Monday, according to a sheriff’s report. The back glass door was shattered but still locked.

The store owner told deputies 22 laptops, an external hard drive and the register, which included computer RAM, was also missing. The items totaled about $10,200.

Surveillance was not available, deputies said.
