A Rock Hill man is in jail without bond for a physical and sexual assault on a woman that put her on life support, according to Rock Hill Police.
Kenneth Little, 51, is charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct, assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature and kidnapping. He was placed in the Rock Hill city jail.
Officers on Saturday met with the 51-year-old victim’s mother, who said her daughter was assaulted by Little on June 5, according to a police report. She said the victim had a bruise on her eye from being hit, and that she took her to the hospital June 10 with gastrointestinal issues.
The victim was released, but her mother took her back to the hospital because her condition worsened, police said. She was admitted to the hospital and underwent surgery for a ruptured spleen, a collapsed lung and a dead bowel.

The victim was placed on life support and was in a coma, the report states.
Little reportedly hit the woman in the eye with a beer bottle, kicked her and punched her in the stomach, according to the report.
The victim was later taken off life support because her condition is improving, according to a police spokesman.
