Teen charged with attempted murder after Rock Hill shooting
A Rock Hill teenager has been charged with shooting at a car earlier this month.
Gunshots were reported just before 9 p.m. June 10 in the 200 block of Blanche Circle, according to a Rock Hill Police report. Witnesses said two men were shooting at a black Dodge Charger.
The woman driving the Charger said she heard “several small pops” and got scared so she sped away. Police found eight .22-caliber shell casings at the scene. The Charger had a small dent in the driver’s side door and a flat hole from one of the bullets.
A K9 unit was called in, but was unsuccessful in immediately locating the suspect.
After a police investigation, Godseen Williams, 18, was arrested Wednesday and charged with three counts of attempted murder, unlawful carrying of a pistol and possession of a firearm during a violent crime, police say.
He is at the Rock Hill jail on a $125,000 bond.
