$20K in crack seized in two Clover drug busts, 2 arrested
Authorities seized just over 200 grams of crack valued at $20,000 this week in two Clover drug busts.
Officers on Wednesday found Antonio Robbins, 33, at a residence on Woodland Hills in Clover and discovered 150 grams of crack with a street value of $15,000. The officers also recovered scales, packaging paraphernalia, $632 in cash and a small amount of marijuana, according to Marvin Brown, commander of the York County Multijurisdictional Drug Enforcement Unit.
Robbins was charged with trafficking crack, second offense, and possession of marijuana, first offense.
On Thursday, officers with the drug unit executed a search warrant at Chamisa Jeter’s residence on Zion Road. Police recovered 52.51 grams of crack with a street value or $5,251. The officers also recovered 6 Clonazepam pills, a set of digital scales, a 9mm pistol and $1,099 in currency, Brown said.
Roosevelt Community Park is with 1/2 mile of Jeter’s home.
Jeter, 35, is charged with trafficking crack, possession of crack with the intent to distribute within a 1/2 mile of a park, possession of Clonazepam with intent to distribute, possession of Clonazepam with intent to distribute within 1/2 mile of a park, and possession of a firearm during a violent crime, Brown said.
Both are currently incarcerated at York County Detention Center.
