Report: Two men carjacked sick driver in Rock Hill

Two unknown men carjacked a Clover man who had pulled over on the side of the road because he was feeling sick, according to Rock Hill Police.

Officers found the 43-year-old victim lying on the ground near Summit Street and Arlington Avenue about 2 a.m. Saturday, according to a police report. He told police he was driving home after dropping some friends off in the State Street area when he began feeling dizzy and nauseous.

The victim said he pulled over on State Street and rolled the window down because he felt sick to his stomach, police said. Two men then pulled the victim from his vehicle, got into the car and drove away toward Heckle Boulevard.

He was unable to provide many details about the thieves.

The man, who said he was having chest pains, was transported to EMS to Piedmont Medical Center because of a previous heart condition.
