Rock Hill man calls cops after finding heroin in girlfriend’s makeup bag
A Rock Hill man called police late Thursday after an argument during which he took heroin from his girlfriend, police say.
The caller told dispatchers he took heroin from his girlfriend while he was on the phone, according to a Rock Hill police report. When officers arrived at the Barrow Street home just before midnight, he handed them a pink makeup bag and said, “This is why we are arguing. I took this from her; it’s got needles and heroin in it.”
The suspect, his girlfriend, left on foot, police said. He told officers his girlfriend “is a totally different person when she is on black tar heroin and becomes very aggressive.”
Inside the pink makeup bag, police found eight needles, two spoons, a rubber tourniquet and about .30 grams of black tar heroin, the report states.
Officers plan to obtain warrants for possession with intent to distribute heroin for the suspect.
