Rock Hill man hid drugs in underwear, police say
A Rock Hill man was jailed on multiple drug charges after he was found to have more than 50 grams of marijuana and crack on him, according to Rock Hill Police.
Officers pulled over a vehicle on Bose Avenue about 10:15 p.m. Friday for failure to use a turn signal. They noticed a strong odor of marijuana coming from the car as they approached, according to a police report. Officers asked the driver and his front seat passenger, Donquita Graham, 27, if they had anything illegal inside, and both men said they smoked marijuana earlier.
Both men were asked to step out of the car. Graham gave officers permission to search him, and an officer felt what appeared to be marijuana in Graham’s underwear. Graham admitted it was marijuana, the report states.
Graham was taken to the Rock Hill Law Center, where a search revealed he had a bag containing 24.5 grams of crack, a second bag containing about 1.5 grams of crack and a bag of about 29 grams of marijuana, the report states. They also found two digital scales.
Police charged Graham with trafficking crack and possession with intent to distribute marijuana. He was placed in the Rock Hill city jail, and released Saturday after posting $75,000 bond.
