South Carolina deputies arrested a 70-year-old man for murder Tuesday after finding the body of a woman missing since May, officials said.

Thomas W. Glenn, 70, is in the Chester County jail without bail, the Chester County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement and a news conference.

Early Tuesday, officials found the body of Donna Lynn Coley, 56, of Chester, in an abandoned mobile home off Cradle Street, said Chester County Coroner Terry Tinker. Officials did not say how Coley died.

Tinker said the coroner’s office believes Coley was dead for several days before being found.

Coley was last seen May 30 and reported missing to law enforcement the next day, deputies said.

Her body was found near where U.S. 321 and S.C. 9 intersect in Chester.

Deputies and State Law Enforcement Division agents are still investigating.
