A repeat domestic violence offender from Chester who beat his girlfriend before dragging her through thorny brambles has been sentenced to eight years in prison.

Adrian Lionel Dunham, 37, of Chester, pleaded guilty to criminal domestic violence second offense, as well as domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature.

Dunham has past convictions for domestic violence from 2002, 2010, and 2012, 6th Circuit Solicitor Randy Newman said.

In the most recent cases Dunham dragged his girlfriend and mother of his child through the bushes last year, then earlier this year beat her with his fist, a hair brush, and a cutting board.
