Stabbing reported at Rock Hill night club
A man told police he had no idea what led up to his stabbing at a Rock Hill night club early Saturday, according to Rock Hill Police.
Officers met with the 36-year-old victim in the Piedmont Medical Center emergency room about 5:30 a.m. Saturday, according to a police report. Hospital staff said the victim told them “he didn’t know what happened.”
The victim’s girlfriend said they had been at Backstage on North Anderson Road but that she left after midnight when they had an argument, police said. She later received a call from a number she didn’t recognize, but said it was a friend of the victim’s.
The victim said “he didn’t know what had happened but (he) had been stabbed,” the report states. His girlfriend said she arrived at the bar and took him to the hospital in her vehicle.
The victim told police he didn’t have an argument with his girlfriend and that she didn’t leave. He went on to say he doesn’t recall what happened but that he did call her to come get him.
Police said the victim’s girlfriend had blood on her right shoulder when they spoke to her. No arrests have been made.
