Police: Rock Hill woman dragged under car in hit-and-run
Rock Hill police are looking for a man with a tattoo on his face who reportedly ran over a woman and then fled the scene.
Shortly after midnight on Sunday, a 19-year-old woman was involved in a collision on the 1600 block of Cherry Road with a red, 2-door sedan. She got out of her vehicle and told the driver, a man in his 20s with a swirl tattoo around his eye, that she was calling the police.
The suspect then drove away from the scene, striking the young woman in the process and dragging her under the car.
An incident report from the officer who responded to the scene notes the woman appeared to have tire marks on her right arm, a possible broken wrist and several cuts and bruises on her face, arm and chest. She was examined by EMS at the scene and advised to seek further medical attention, the report states.
The car that struck the woman is believed to be a Chevrolet Lumina, according to the report.
