Sheriff: Armed robber took cash, beer from Lake Wylie gas station
The suspect took cash and a 24 ounce beer during an armed robbery at a Lake Wylie gas station.
The York County Sheriff’s Office responded to the robbery just after 12:30 a.m. at the Murphy Express gas station 138 Hwy. 274 in Lake Wylie.
The suspect, described as a man in his mid 20s around 5’9” tall and 145 pounds, took an undisclosed amount of money and a beer, according to the sheriff’s office.
Surveillance video was released Thursday afternoon.
