Police: Rock Hill woman vandalized car with mustard

A woman was charged with malicious injury to property Sunday after pouring mustard on the interior and exterior of a man’s car, Rock Hill police said.

The victim called police to his home on Gordon Court Sunday after a woman damaged his car, according to a police report. He told officers he was sitting on the porch of his home when he saw the suspect, who is the mother of his children, pour mustard on the exterior paint and interior seats of his car.

Officers arrived and saw mustard on the hood, windshield, driver seat, passenger seat and cupholders of the car, the report states. The damage was estimated at $300.

Police found the woman at her home. She told them she went to a grocery store around the corner from the victim’s home but denied going to his home. The woman was taken into custody.
