A Lancaster teen has been arrested on a murder charge after he shot his mother’s boyfriend Monday, according to officials.

D’Andre Azam Ivey, 18, is charged in the death of Justin Damien Bailey, 37, Lancaster County Sheriff Barry Faile said in a written statement.

Bailey had been shot several times when found by deputies before 2 a.m. at a home on Thompson Road, Faile said. Ivey is accused of shooting Bailey after an argument, according to Faile.

Ivey left the scene after the shooting in a Ford Taurus but was later taken into custody after a traffic stop, Faile said. Deputies recovered a gun, according to the statement.

Ivey remains in the Lancaster County jail after he was denied bail Monday.
