Clover 'Satan’s Disciple' gang member sentenced in federal court

Satan’s Disciple is headed to federal prison.

Joseph Matthew Polk, 24, an admitted member of the Satan’s Disciple street gang, pleaded guilty in a federal courtroom to charges of possession of a weapon during drug trafficking and distribution of methamphetamine.

As reported in The Herald, Polk signaled his intent to plead guilty in an Aug. 7 court filling. He received the expected 20-year sentence from Judge Joseph Anderson.

He was arrested in Lake Wylie by federal drug agents in April after an undercover operation.
