Shooting reported in Rock Hill home invasion

Rock Hill Police are investigating a shooting late Sunday reportedly carried out by two men wearing ski masks.

Officers responded to shots fired on South Jones Avenue about 11:40 p.m. Sunday and were told a gunshot victim was running on Sylvia Circle, according to a police report. Police found several shell casings on the 900 block of South Stonewall Avenue.

Two victims told officers they were inside a home on the 900 block of South Stonewall Avenue when two men wearing ski masks entered. One of the suspects was wearing a black hoodie and the other was wearing a brown hoodie.

The victims said shots were fired in the home, and that they were able to flee on foot, police said. One victim said he was hit by a silver Ford Focus while running.

Police found one shell casing in the home where the men said the shooting happened.

No injuries were reported and no arrests have been made.
