Police: Gunshots outside Rock Hill home ‘possibly gang-related’
Gunfire was reported outside a home early Monday in what Rock Hill Police are calling a “possibly gang-related” shooting.
Shots were reported just after 1 a.m. outside a house on the 1100 block of Parkmont Lane, according to a police report. The homeowner said he was inside his home and heard three or four shots. He added that his home was shot at two weeks ago.
Officers cased the area and found four .380-caliber shell casings on the 1100 block, police said. The homeowner said he saw a dark colored SUV leaving the area after the shots were fired.
“This incident is possibly gang-related,” the report states, adding that the case remains active with leads.
