Eighteen people who dropped their phones off for repairs this week will be without them for a little longer after those phones were stolen during a break-in.
Rock Hill police were called to the Cellular Repair store on Cherry Road Thursday morning after the owner found the business had been broken into, with the glass in the front door smashed in.
The burglary occurred overnight sometime between 7 p.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday. The thieves took off with an unidentified quantity of cash along with 18 phones in various stages of being refurbished and an Apple iPad tablet.
Police are reviewing security footage from a nearby business in hopes of identifying the burglar.
