Rock Hill man charged with domestic violence after chasing woman with knife
A Rock Hill man is in jail after he reportedly charged at a woman with a knife.
Quadre Sanreses Strong, 26, was charged with domestic violence early Friday morning after officers were called to the incident at a Sylvia Street home at 1 a.m., according to a Rock Hill Police report.
Police spoke to the 23-year-old victim and witnesses at the home, but Strong had left the area on foot and was located a short time later on the 700 block of South Stonewall Avenue.
The young woman told police she and Strong got into a verbal altercation and two other people at the home had to separate them. The witnesses told officers they saw Strong chase the woman out of the bedroom brandishing a knife, although the woman was unharmed.
