Police: Student arrested after touching girl inappropriately on Rock Hill school bus

A student was charged with assault after repeatedly touching a female student inappropriately on the school bus, according to Rock Hill Police.

The incident happened about 4:15 p.m. Monday and was captured on the bus’s video system, according to a police report. The victim is a student at Northwestern High School.

The 17-year-old girl told officers the male suspect touched her back and hair and continued after she told him “several times” not to touch her, police said. He then reached around and touched her chest over her clothes.

Footage from the video camera on the bus shows the 14-year-old suspect reach around and touch the girl’s chest, police said. The male student was charged with third-degree assault and battery and released to a parent.
