Three charged with shooting into Chester home, injuring girl
Three men were charged this week with a shooting at a Chester home earlier this month, during which one person was shot in the hand, according to the Chester Police Department.
Timothy Lamar Franklin III, 19, Jeffrey Todd Hall Jr., 24 and Desean Moses, 22, were each charged with assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature, two counts of discharging a firearm into a dwelling and first-degree assault and battery, according to a press release issued Thursday.
All three men remained in the Chester County Detention Center without bond Thursday evening.
The shooting happened about 10 p.m. Sept. 5 at a home on the 100 block of Hope Street, according to the release. Officers responded to a call of multiple gunshots and found a 17-year-old girl with a gunshot wound to the hand. She was taken to Chester Regional Medical Center, and then to Carolinas Medical Center, where she was treated and released.
The three suspects were later identified and arrested. Officials have not released a motive for the shooting.
Chester Police were assisted by Chester County Probation and Parole, the State Law Enforcement Division’s fugitive task force and the Rock Hill Police violent crimes unit.
