A Rock Hill man is accused of repeatedly sexually abusing a girl for four years, according to Rock Hill Police.

Officers on Wednesday met with the victim, who said David Alden Dickerson, 39, had sexually assaulted her the night before, according to a police report. The victim said the abuse has been going on for four years, and “started with just touching, then gradually evolved into sex.”

The victim, whose age was not listed on the report, said she told her mother about the abuse two years ago but “nothing was ever done,” the report states. She was taken to Piedmont Medical Center for a sexual assault kit.

Dickerson faces multiple charges, including second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor and assault with intent to commit first-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor. He remained in the Rock Hill city jail Friday.
