3 girls arrested after Chester High School fight
Three students were arrested and four more were referred to the Department of Juvenile Justice after a fight at Chester High School on Tuesday, according to the Chester County Sheriff’s Office.
The fight happened just before noon and was prompted by an incident in the cafeteria the previous day, according to a sheriff’s report.
Three 17-year-old girls were charged with disorderly conduct, and four juvenile students were “referred” to the state Department of Juvenile Justice, the report states.
A school system spokeswoman said no students were transported to the hospital and there were no weapons involved. She could not comment on any disciplinary action taken against the students, which is confidential.
