Police: Gunman stole cash, cigarettes in Lancaster armed robbery

Police are looking for a man who stole cash and cigarettes from a Lancaster gas station early Tuesday morning.

The hooded robber held a gun up to the clerk at Crenco’s on the Hwy. 9 bypass at about 4:30 a.m., according to a news release from Lancaster Police.

He demanded cash and cigarettes and then fled in a red or burgundy compact car, possibly a late 90s model Honda Accord, driven by another person. The suspect is described as a black man, approximately 6’ 1’’ tall with a thin build, who wore a black hooded sweatshirt at the time of the robbery.
