Rock Hill woman finds marijuana in box delivered to her home
A woman who was expecting to find hair products in a box left on her door step instead found two packages of marijuana, according to Rock Hill Police.
The woman said she heard someone knock on the door of her Sapaugh Avenue home about 3:30 p.m. Monday and leave a package on her door step, according to a police report. She told officers she was expecting a delivery of hair products, but when she opened the box, she found another smaller box inside that contained two packages of marijuana, each wrapped in plastic.
The woman called police. While waiting for officers to respond, the report states, she saw a white SUV parked nearby and a woman standing beside the vehicle, watching her. Police were unable to locate the SUV or the woman.
The case was turned over to the York County Multi-jurisdictional Drug Enforcement Unit.
