$15K in mini fridges reported stolen from Rock Hill warehouse
Rock Hill Police are investigating the theft of more than $15,000 in mini refrigerators from a warehouse.
The owner of the Curtis Street warehouse told officers Tuesday that someone took 48 micro-refrigerator units from the building between Aug. 28 and 29, according to a police report. Each unit is valued at $324.
The owner said he didn’t “consider pursuing the issue” until Tuesday, when he saw similar units being sold online, police said. He believes an employee of his who has a key to the warehouse took the refrigerators.
The person selling the fridges in the online ad provided the same phone number that the employee provided to the warehouse owner, police said.
So far, no charges have been filed.
