Shots fired into two Rock Hill homes with people inside
Bullet holes were found in two homes after separate shootings Thursday night, according to Rock Hill Police.
No injuries were reported in either incident.
The first shooting happened about 11:10 p.m. on the 2700 block of Rustic Ridge, according to a police report. A woman said she was lying in bed when someone fired several shots into her home.
Officers found several bullet holes in the home, including in the bathroom and the bedroom ceiling, police said. A bullet was found in the bathtub, and a vehicle outside had also been shot.
A neighbor told police he saw two men run to a vehicle after the shots were fired. The vehicle was described as a black two-door Mercedes or Volkswagen.
A second shooting was reported about 11:25 p.m. on the 500 block of Flint Street, where a resident reported hearing four or five gunshots, according to the report. He walked into his bedroom and saw several bullet holes in the wall and a “projectile” sitting on his bed.
Another resident said she was asleep in her room when the shooting happened, police said. Both residents said they do not have any enemies.
No arrests have been made, and it’s not clear if the two incidents are related.
