Woman accused of indecent exposure, filing false police report at Fort Mill motel
A Charlotte woman is accused of exposing herself outside a Fort Mill motel and fabricating a story about being sexually assaulted.
Deputies responded to a sexual assault report about 9:50 p.m. Sunday at the Motel 6 on Foothills Way. When they arrived, 25-year-old Emily Ann Wall, of Charlotte, was outside in front of the motel, yelling at two men, according to a York County Sheriff’s Office report.
Wall was yelling loudly and using vulgar language, deputies said. She pulled up her shirt, exposing her bra, and also pulled down her pants, exposing herself to “numerous people” who were outside the motel, the report states.
Wall told deputies she called 911 twice to report that she was sexually assaulted, the report states. She admitted the story wasn’t true, and that she fabricated the story because she was upset over being kicked out of a room.
Wall was charged with indecent exposure and filing a false police report of a felony. She was placed in the York County Detention Center, where she remained Tuesday under $10,000 bond.
