A Lancaster man is wanted on an attempted murder charge after a Tuesday night shooting left one person injured, police said Wednesday.

Capt. Scott Grant of the Lancaster Police Department said Angelou Lopas Cunningham, 44, is wanted for attempted murder, possession of a firearm during a violent crime and possession of a firearm by a person convicted of a violent crime.

Authorities say a shooting victim with an injury to his hand walked into the lobby of the Lancaster Police Department on Tuesday night. The man was given medical treatment and transported to an area hospital.

After an investigation, Grant said police obtained warrants on Cunningham. He is considered “armed and dangerous,” according to police.
