2nd armed robbery reported this week on Patriot Parkway in Rock Hill
Rock Hill Police are investigating the second armed robbery in two days on Patriot Parkway.
The robbery happened about 10:30 p.m. Thursday on the 800 block of Patriot Parkway, according to a police report. The victim told officers he was on the sidewalk when three suspects approached him.
One of the suspects pulled a gun, and they ordered the victim to give them his money, police said. He gave the robbers his wallet, which contained about $30 cash, a driver’s license, a school ID and debit cards.
The suspects also took the victim’s iPhone and book bag, police said. They fled on foot toward Mallard Point Apartments.
Officers responded to an armed robbery on the same block Wednesday night, during which three armed suspects approached a man in his car and robbed him of NASCAR tickets, his cellphone and money.
No arrests have been made, and it’s not clear if the cases are related.
