Police in Rock Hill charged two men Saturday morning after a disturbance at the Cherry Road Bojangles where the men resisted officers after trying to take food from customers, according to a Rock Hill police report.

Police also found about a third of a gram of cocaine in the car the men were in around 8 a.m. Saturday, the report states.

Patrick Jamaal Chambers, 29, admitted to police he had smoked “weed” hours before then continued to resist officers, who had to pull him from the car he was sitting in outside the restaurant, the report states. Officers fired a stun gun at Chambers but missed, the report states.

Chambers was charged with driving under suspension, trespassing, disorderly conduct and resisting police, the report states.

The other man, Satchel Bass, 28, who “had a strong odor of alcohol,” would not comply with police request for identification, then allegedly hit an officer and became disorderly after he was detained, according to the report. While in custody, Bass damaged a phone box at the city jail, police said.

Bass was charged with possession of cocaine, assault and battery, resisting police, damage to city property, trespassing, and public disorderly conduct, according to police.
