Police: Manager at Rock Hill Arby’s taking $2,000 to bank robbed at knifepoint
Police in Rock Hill are seeking an armed robber who is accused of stealing the restaurant deposit from an Arby’s employee Tuesday.
The Arby’s manager left the store on Cranium Drive near Heckle Boulevard Tuesday to make a deposit for the business. She was sitting at a stop sign along Heckle Boulevard when an unknown man jumped out of the bushes and into her vehicle, according to a police report.
The robber reportedly held a knife to her neck. He then jumped out of the car with her money bag, which had approximately $2,000 cash, the report states.
Detectives are working the case but so far no arrests have been made, said Mark Bollinger, spokesman for the Rock Hill Police Department.
