Two men were jailed on drug charges after they were found sleeping in a car early Friday, according to Rock Hill Police.

Officers found two men inside a Mazda Protege on the 200 block of Poag Street just before 7 a.m. Friday, according to a police report. An officer asked the driver to roll down his window, but the driver ignored the officer’s request and reached down toward his waistline.

After the driver, later identified as Jordan Jackson, 22, ignored repeated requests to put his hands on the wheel, officers were able to get him out, the report states. Jackson gave officers permission to search him, and officers found 1.5 grams of cocaine in his front pocket.

The passenger, 21-year-old Santwan Lamontre Hart, was asked to exit the car. He gave officers permission to search him. On him, they found 14 grams of cocaine and .5 grams of marijuana, police said.

Hart was charged with trafficking cocaine and possession of marijuana, and remained in the York County Detention Center on Monday under $30,000 bond. Jackson was charged with possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, and remained jailed under $16,600 bond.
