One of two men charged with the armed robbery of the Mayflower seafood restaurant last month has also been charged with two robberies at a Rock Hill apartment complex, according to Rock Hill Police.

Austin Drake Baucom, 17, was charged with two counts of armed robbery and two counts of criminal conspiracy, according to police records.

After an investigation, Baucom has now been linked to two armed robberies that happened at an apartment complex on Patriot Parkway on Oct. 7 and 8, a Rock Hill Police spokesman said.

In one incident, three armed suspects approached a man who was sitting in his car and took several items, including his iPhone, cash and two NASCAR tickets, police have said. The following night, a man reported he was on the sidewalk outside an apartment when three armed suspects approached and robbed him of his wallet, iPhone and book bag.

No other arrests have been made in the Patriot Parkway robberies, which remain under investigation.

Baucom and a second man were arrested after the Oct. 17 armed robbery of the Mayflower seafood restaurant on Celanese Road. Both suspects were charged then with armed robbery, criminal conspiracy and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
