The sheriff’s office Crime Stoppers of York County put out its latest “Wanted Wednesday” video special today, asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects accused of local crimes this month: one burglary case in Fort Mill and one armed robbery in Rock Hill.

Authorities have made public the images of two suspects, taken by surveillance video cameras.

The York County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the first case, which happened Nov. 3 around noon in Fort Mill. Detectives say an unknown man kicked in a garage door and got away with several items, possibly including tools such as a drill, a saw, an air compressor and a lawn mower. Authorities believe the suspect may have also stolen a kayak, a generator, and three bikes.

In the other case, Crime Stoppers is assisting the Rock Hill Police Department in an armed robbery case where an unknown man held up a person with a gun outside a store on West Main Street on Nov. 4.

For more information, watch the video. The York County Sheriff’s Office stresses that all suspects or people of interest are innocent until proven guilty.

If you can help investigators with any of these cases you're asked to call Crime Stoppers of York County at 1-877-409-4321 or submit a tip online at yorkcrimestoppers.com.
