Deputies: Threats on Fantasy Football message board targeted Rock Hill man

Fantasy Football turned personal for a 33-year-old Rock Hill man this week after someone in his league began threatening him online – prompting the man to call the York County Sheriff’s Office to report harassment.

The man reported at least six harassing posts on the league message board targeting him and his family, including a comment from the other league player threatening to sue him, according to the sheriff’s office incident report. He gave deputies the man’s name but no other information was available to help authorities track the person down.

Deputies say the alleged dispute started after the man traded players with another fantasy league friend online. No arrests have been made.
