Sheriff seeks 2 York County sex offenders who failed to register

The York County Sheriff’s Office is searching for two men who failed to register as sex offenders.

Leland Eugene Severs, 49, and Demitrius Antwan Baxter, 37, are required by state law to register as sex offenders and did not, according to a statement released Monday from the sheriff’s office. This is Severs’ third offense and Baxter’s first.

Severs’ last known address is Forest Music Drive in Clover. Baxter’s last known address is on Bose Avenue in Rock Hill.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to call York County Crime Stoppers at 877-409-4321 or the sheriff’s office at 803-628-3059.
