Report: Rock Hill man grabbed teenage girl shopping on Thanksgiving
A man was charged with assault and battery after grabbing a teenage girl in the Rock Hill Galleria on Thanksgiving, according to Rock Hill Police.
Tyrecus Donte Brice, 35, of Rock Hill, was charged with second-degree assault and battery and placed in the Rock Hill city jail, where he was released Friday under $25,000 bond, according to jail records.
The incident happened about 11 p.m. Thursday at the Rock Hill Galleria, according to a police report. The 15-year-old victim was walking past a store in the mall when a man walked up behind her, grabbed her buttocks and said “Oh, you’re young but you can still have my number.”
The suspect, who was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt with airbrush artwork on the back, walked off, police said. The victim, who was shopping with her aunt, took a picture of him as he walked away with two other men.
Officers found the suspect, Brice, in another store in the mall and charged him, the report states.
