Two charged after shooting at Chester car wash, drugs found
A Chester man is jailed after he shot at an occupied vehicle at a busy Chester car wash Wednesday afternoon, police said.
Shawn Deonte Boyd, 23, allegedly fired the shots after an argument at the car wash at the corner of Saluda Road and the J.A. Cochran Bypass near the IGA store, according to arrest warrants and police reports. No one was reported injured.
Boyd was charged with assault and battery after witnesses saw the car Boyd was in flee, police said.
A second man was charged with marijuana possession after officers found an ounce of marijuana.
