One shot at SC Christmas party

One person was shot at a house party at the 400 block of Bridgecreek Drive late Friday night.

After the victim suffered a gunshot wound to the upper body, a friend took him to Providence Hospital, according to a media release. Emergency medical services transported the victim to Palmetto Health Richland. His condition is unknown.

The Richland County Sheriff’s Department responded to the incident at 11:30 p.m. Christmas Day. Its investigation is ongoing.
