Meth found in York County courtroom

Cleaning crews found a gram of methamphetamine inside a courtroom at the Moss Justice Center, according to the York County Sheriff’s Office.

A maintenance supervisor told deputies late Thursday night that his cleaning crew found narcotics in a courtroom, according to a sheriff’s report. A deputy went into the courtroom and found a small clear bag containing 1.05 grams of methamphetamine in the corner seat of a pew in the back row.

The meth was entered into evidence for disposal, deputies said.

A suspect is unknown.
