Thieves cut through metal door to steal 45 iPhones from Rock Hill store
Two thieves broke into a Rock Hill store and stole nearly four-dozen smartphones, according to Police.
Officers responded to an alarm at the T-Mobile on Cherry Road about 4 a.m. Tuesday, according to a police report. A representative with the alarm company told dispatch while officers were en route they could see two suspects on the interior alarm cameras.
Police say the thieves cut through the metal back door with a saw and entered the store with a crow bar and trash bags. The two men broke into the inventory room with the crow bar and took about 45 iPhones.
The suspects, who were wearing hoodies and gloves, were gone when police arrived. A K-9 team responded but was unsuccessful in locating the men.
