$3,000 in bow ties stolen from Rock Hill store

Someone stole over $3,000 worth of bow ties from a Rock Hill store, according to police.

An employee at Jos. A. Bank said the thief stole 69 bow ties from the store on Herlong Avenue back in January. Employees didn’t notice the missing merchandise until weeks later.

Most of the shop’s bow ties sell for about $50 each, according to the company’s website.

The case remains active.
