ROCK HILL A Rock Hill woman was charged with public disorderly conduct Tuesday after grabbing another woman’s buttocks while in the checkout line at a Family Dollar store, according to police reports.

Shadora McGriff, 24, admitted to inappropriately touching the woman at the Albright Road store, police said.

The victim told police that McGriff told her that she “grabbed her butt because it looked soft.” The victim then asked the cashier to call police after the incident escalated into an argument.

Officers spoke to the victim and two witnesses who alleged that McGriff began to yell and curse in the parking lot. Police charged then charged McGriff with public disorderly conduct after the victim declined to press charges for the assault against her in the checkout line, the report states.
