Car stolen off Rock Hill car lot after keys left in door
A car thief didn’t have to do too much work to make off with a vehicle on a Rock Hill dealer’s lot.
Rock Hill police were told a man drove a 2003 BMW X5 off the lot at Galaxy Auto Sales because the keys were left in the car’s door.
Officers were called to the North Anderson Road dealership at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday after an employee saw the BMW being driven away on Anderson, heading south.
The gray and purple car is valued at $10,000.
