3 shootings reported in Rock Hill, 3 injured
Rock Hill Police are investigating three Thursday night shootings, including one that left three people injured.
All three victims were taken to Piedmont Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police. One person was shot in the arm and two others were grazed by bullets.
The three victims were shot at about 8:20 p.m. at a home on the 900 block of Arlington Avenue, according to a police report. Officers responded around the same time to a shooting on Lige Street.
Seven people, including a 3-year-old and a 5-year-old, were inside the home on the 600 block of Lige Street but none were injured, police said.
A third shooting was reported about 10:50 p.m. on the 1100 block of Pearson Drive. There were five people in that house but none were injured, police said.
Capt. Mark Bollinger said investigators are continuing the work the cases, and it’s not clear if they’re related.
“Investigators have little to go on in all three incidents, and we are asking for the public’s help,” he said.
