An 18-year-old York man was attacked and robbed by a group of masked men early Saturday while walking home near Congress and Blackburn streets, according to a York police report.
The victim, Aaron Michael Doster of 1325 Hawks Nest Road, told police a car carrying “five or six guys” pulled up to him while he was walking home about 3:15 a.m. Saturday.
The men asked him if he had any money. Doster told the men he didn’t have any money and “they got out of the car and started saying if you don’t give me what you got we are going to hurt you,” the report said.
Doster said the men took his book bag, which included his cellphone, a black PlayStation 3 and several games, the report said. The men also reportedly took his wallet containing $120 and his bank card.
The suspects hit Doster in the face and ear and kicked him in the ribs and right ear, the report said. He told police the suspects were wearing blue jeans, black shirts or hoodies and black masks.
The victim was taken to Piedmont Emergency Medical Services for treatment.
