Pizza delivery driver robbed in Rock Hill - again

For the second time in just over a week, a Papa John’s pizza delivery employee reported he was robbed at gunpoint in Rock Hill.

The driver met police on Lucky Lane and said two men wearing hooded sweatshirts robbed him just before midnight Sunday, according to a Rock Hill Police report.

The victim said the unknown suspects pointed a gun and knife and told him to “give it up.” They took his wallet, $30 in cash and the pizza.

He told authorities the suspects fled toward Whitner Street on Clarinda Street.

It is unknown if Sunday’s incident is connected with a similar robbery on March 19. In that case, a Papa John’s worker was reportedly robbed by three hooded men.
