A Blacksburg man was arrested by York County Sheriff’s deputies on charges connected to child pornography.
Edwin Cleotus Carroll, 62, is charged with two counts of sexual exploitation of minors, according to the South Carolina Attorney General’s office.
On November 23, 2015, a search warrant was executed at Carroll’s residence in relation to a sex offender registry. Several computer-related items were seized and a forensic examination revealed they contained child pornography, the AG’s office states.

The charges are a felony, punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
