$600 in gift cards stolen in Fort Mill vehicle break-in

Hunting and camping supplies, electronics and hundreds of dollars in gift cards were reported stolen from a truck in Fort Mill, according to the York County Sheriff’s Office.

The break-in was reported Friday morning on Blue Jay Pass. The owner of the Ford F-150 told deputies he found the driver’s side window broken when he was going to work. Officers wrote that “many” items were stolen from the truck, including two-way radios, an emergency radio, a dash-cam and camping supplies.

The owner also reported more than $600 in gift cards missing from the vehicle, deputies said. Several of the camping items were found outside another home on Blue Jay Pass on Saturday and returned to the victim. A laptop that was reported stolen from from a previous break-in also was located and returned to its owner.

No arrests have been made.
